Meet Dr. Darviche
Founder & Owner of Waltham Perio
Dr. Jane Darviche has spent the last 30 years studying, teaching and caring for patients. She attended the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She received her DMD from Tufts in 1987. Dr. Darviche continued her studies at Tufts, completing a postdoctoral Certificate in Periodontology in 1989. She is a native of the Boston area and is a skilled, caring Periodontist, Consultant, and a Periodontal Educator.
Throughout her career she has continued the pursuit of advanced education, learning the latest and most advanced techniques for the treatment of periodontal disease. In addition to having her own clinical practice, she is the former Director of Clinical Education at Online Oral Surgery. This is a specialty training site where dental students, dentists and oral surgery residents can learn the skills they need to conduct in-office oral surgery.
Dr. Darviche has a particular passion for the oral systemic health connection. If you examine her logo, it not only looks like the top of teeth but also like the heart. Her tagline says it all: “Periodontal Wellness for Overall Health.” After 30 years of practice she has seen how periodontal health affects systemic issues and how active periodontal disease impacts overall health.
